US News & World Report Best High Schools 2015

Southern Cayuga Jr/Sr High School has been named one of the top high schools in the US as part of the U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools listing. With a silver award, the school was ranked No. 2,325 nationally and No. 207 in the state. More than 21,000 high schools throughout the country were reviewed and only 217 out of 1,259 high schools in New York were acknowledged in the rankings. Awards were based on the school’s overall performance on state assessments and how well it prepares students for college and careers.
