Cathy Haight and Kaley Driscoll win Athletic Awards

Southern Cayuga CSD Athletic Director Cathy Haight has been awarded the New York State Athletic Administrators Association (NYSAAA) Chapter 4 Athletic Administrator of the Year. Based on criteria outlined by NYSAAA, the award is presented annually to a Chapter Athletic Administrator who has made an outstanding contribution to athletics over the years, and has shown evidence of dedication to athletics through the activities of the NYSAAA. The recipient has also practiced and supported the positive values of "education based athletics" throughout his/her career.
 
Southern Cayuga CSD Senior Kaley Driscoll has been awarded the New York State Athletic Administrators Association (NYSAAA) Chapter 4 Academic Student Award. Based on an academic criteria outlined by NYSAAA, the award is presented annually to one female and one male student in Section IV who excel in both athletics and academics. The students not only must meet the high academic standards for consideration of the award, they also need to complete an essay on 'how athletics has influenced their drive for success'. 
 
Both were recognized for their achievements at the annual NYSAAA Chapter 4 Luncheon on February 13, 2020.  Congratulations to Cathy and Kaley on their award.
