SCCS Drama Club Presents: Shrek the Musical
The Southern Cayuga Drama Club is proud to present Shrek the Musical, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film. Shrek was brought to Broadway in 2008 and brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage. It is a tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey, played by Brendan Gill, and the feisty princess Fiona, played by Erica Milliman. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand...and his name is Shrek, played by Caleb Roman. Our talented cast will take you on a journey of an ogre who discovers the power of friendship and the realization that true love is about more than looks.
Our show runs Thursday, March 5th at 6:30pm, and Friday & Saturday, March 6th & 7th at 7:00pm in the Auditorium.
Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors and students, and $4.00 for children under five.
