Fall Sports & Information Night on Aug 5 @6:30pm

We are excited to inform you that your child has expressed interest in participating in a fall season sport this year at SCCS. We look forward to seeing their achievements throughout the season! Please take note of the following important details:
We will be holding a Sports Information Night on Wednesday, August 5th at 6:30pm in the SCCS Auditorium. In this meeting, I will review the Sports Handbook including code of conduct for all athletes. We will review FinalForms in case you have questions and we will have break out meetings with the coaches to go over their practices, expectations and schedules. Mrs. Davis will be available to assist Spanish speaking families communicate with the coaches and complete any necessary forms.
All practices start on August 24.
Physical Examination Requirement: Students must have a current physical, defined as one conducted within the past year, to participate this fall. A copy must be on file with the school nurse. We will be holding physicals at the school (with our school physician) on August 3 & 10, free of charge to you. If you would like to set up a time to come in for a physical here at school, please call Anne Reynolds at 315-364-7111 ext. 1440 or email her at reynoldsanne@southerncayuga.
FinalForms: We are pleased to continue our participation with FinalForms, an online system that simplifies the completion and management of athletic participation forms. FinalForms saves data from season to season, reducing the need for repetitive data entry and allowing you to review and update information as needed. If you do not have a FinalForms account, please refer to the attached Parent Information Guide for instructions on setting up your account. For assistance, use the "Get Help" option at the bottom-right of the page. If you already have an account, simply: Log in to your account. Select the sport your child will participate in for the FALL SEASON. Review and update/sign any forms highlighted in red. Forms highlighted in green are complete. Please complete all required forms at: FinalForms Registration. Please note: FinalForms Registration for fall sports opens on August 3.
Game Schedules: Game schedules are available on our Schedule Manager, Aktivate. Schedules are being finalized and any updates or changes will be reflected on Aktivate.
